How to Apply

A maximum number of 30 students will be admitted to the programme, ideally from the three different nationalities involved and selected locally by each partner. It is particularly aimed at high-potential young people at the beginning of their careers who wish to become part of a Portuguese-speaking economic network.

Selection of Applicants

Final assessment and the granting of scholarships will be in keeping with the weighting of the elements outlined below:
1. Academic records - 25%;
2. Personal interview - 25%;
3. Mark obtained in the entrance examination - 50%.

The entrance examination lasts two hours and comprises two components:

1. Quantitative component, lasting one hour, composed of a series of multiple choice questions (similar to GMAT but in Portuguese), counting 50% towards the examination’s final mark;
2. A written essay, lasting one hour, on a topic related to economic diplomacy in the context of business internationalization in Portuguese-speaking countries, counting 50% towards the examination’s final mark.


A merit-based scholarship scheme is available to all applicants. Merit-based scholarships can correspond to a 100%, 75% or 25% financing of the programme and will be granted in keeping with the assessment of the applications submitted and taking into account the several elements in the selection process (see selection process).
